Background

Eden EMC, a key participant in McDonald’s Restaurants’ national main contractor framework and Contractors Alliance, specialising in various retail property developments across the UK. Our work involves refurbishing existing restaurants, fitting out new areas, and executing significant external developments. These projects include building car parks, installing lifts, extending stores with steelwork, and landscaping, among others. Each project, ranging from a few hundred thousand to over a million pounds, is uniquely designed according to one of twenty distinct themes and is subject to rigorous timing standards.

What we did

The focus was on a comprehensive project in Ashby De La Zouch, Leicestershire, covering 3,100 square feet, including a 750-square-foot extension. The project featured eco-friendly facilities, expanded dining and office areas, a large car park, and various external modifications. Key elements included a new folded roof, a freezer chiller extension, a complete kitchen upgrade, and the repurposing of existing spaces.

The interior fit-out showcased custom designs and imported materials, while the exterior saw the creation of a double-capacity drive-thru and a reconfigured car park with environmentally conscious features. Safety and security measures for site workers were a top priority, with specific policies and strategic placements of facilities.
