Henley’s CAU Steakhouse Strategic Refitting

The Henley project involved a complete overhaul of an existing unit, starting with an extensive strip-out to create a blank canvas for the twelve-week refurbishment program. The team expertly handled structural alterations to fit the new restaurant layout and resolved longstanding issues in the building.

A major logistical challenge was managing deliveries through the only access point – the front door, requiring strategic coordination with local authorities and adherence to parking restrictions.

The project scope extended to a full interior strip-out and refit, installation of a new storefront, and the conversion of two basement areas into a liquor store and bespoke cold rooms. These transformations were critical in optimising space and functionality for the restaurant.

This project demanded intricate coordination for the installation of new water, gas, and electrical mains, all while converting the space into a CAU restaurant. Our team worked diligently with local authorities to minimise disruptions, especially important given the restaurant’s prime location in Henley’s busy area.

The final result was a testament to Eden EMC’s craftsmanship, featuring high-quality finishes like resin flake effect flooring, Muraspec wall coverings, and bespoke furniture.
